Middle Dalmatia, on the east coast of the Adriatic Sea, is dotted with many islands to explore by the ferry service. Much nature can be found here, and nowhere else in Europe, as the new tourism hasn't found its way to the remoter regions. Dolphins can be seen in the ultra-clear waters, and diving in these waters is renowned for its distant visibility.

The coastline itself is a mix of quiet, sheltered coves, sandy beaches and cliffs where high seas are spectacular.

Inland, the River Cetina courses through numerous small villages, with a mountainous backdrop. Grapes, figs and olives are grown here, and a varied cuisine abounds. From Mediterranean gastronomy, to Slavic dishes, you can find something to stimulate the tastebuds.
